Please collect the Sainsburys vouchers for Isca HC as we can use these to obtain equipment for the club. Either take them to training and give to either Jane or Graham or alternatively, give them to your captain who will pass them on.
When you start clearing out your wardrobes, please put your unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, bags and jewellery in black bin bags (no socks, bed linen or curtains). Jane will collect at the last training sessions at the end of March.
There is an umpiring course taking place on the evenings of 24th and 25th March between 6pm and 9:30pm at Exeter University Sports Park in the training room. The course costs £50 - candidates need to pay this when booking their place on the course - the club will reimburse £25 immediately and £25 on completion of qualification. Please click here
for more information and to book your place.
Isca now have brand new club kit with a fresh design,
ranging from hoodies, baselayers, playing shorts/skirts and more! Playing
shirts will still be provided by the club for each match and socks will be sold
separately at training sessions but all other Isca items can now be ordered
from the Isca Hockey Club team shop from the Kukri website. Click here
to see what's available and get your orders in!
Players and parents are requested to park in car park B by
the sand pitch on training nights and ideally in Car park A on Saturdays.
Parking patrols will be issuing fines to anyone parking illegally, ie not
in a designated space, blocking any emergency access, or in the area immediately
by the water based pitch.
Isca Under 16 Girls travelled to Wolverhampton on Sunday January 18th to participate in the National Indoor Finals, having qualified by winning the West Regional Indoor round. It was a great achievement by the girls but unfortunately, they narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals, despite finishing joint second in their group - denied only by goal difference. A full report can be found here
Thanks go to Jack Childs for running the indoor training and to Jess Persse, Ffion Barham and Sue Hutchings.
